Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Repair Inspector - Level 2 to join our team at Notting Hill Genesis in London. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the housing maintenance sector and make a real difference in the community.

As a Repair Inspector - Level 2, your main responsibility will be to inspect and assess repairs carried out by contractors to ensure they meet the required standards and quality. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of building maintenance practices.

Key duties of this role include conducting on-site inspections, documenting findings, and providing feedback to contractors on the quality of their work. You will also be responsible for identifying any defects or issues that need to be addressed and ensuring they are rectified in a timely manner.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role as you will be liaising with contractors, residents, and other team members to coordinate repair works and address any concerns or queries. You must also have strong organisational abilities to effectively manage your workload and meet deadlines.

This position requires a proactive and hands-on approach, as you will be working independently to carry out inspections and assessments across various properties. A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges is key to succeeding in this role.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Repair Inspector - Level 2, you must have previous experience in a similar inspection or maintenance role within the housing sector. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building codes is essential.

Having relevant qualifications in building maintenance or a related field will be advantageous. A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle may also be required for travel between inspection sites.
