As a Repairs Officer Level 3, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and repair of our properties are carried out efficiently and to a high standard. You will be responsible for coordinating repair works, liaising with contractors, and ensuring that all repairs are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
1. Coordinating repair works: You will be responsible for receiving repair requests, assessing the nature of the works required, and allocating jobs to the appropriate contractors.
2. Liaising with contractors: You will need to maintain strong relationships with our network of contractors, ensuring they are fully briefed on the scope of works and expected standards.
3. Monitoring progress: You will be required to monitor the progress of repair works, ensuring they are completed on time and to a high standard. Any issues or delays should be addressed promptly.
4. Budget management: You will work closely with the finance team to ensure that repair works are carried out within agreed budgets, providing regular updates on expenditure and forecasting future costs.
5. Health and safety compliance: You will need to ensure that all repair works comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and address any risks.
6. Customer service: You will be the main point of contact for tenants and leaseholders regarding repair works, providing regular updates and resolving any queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
In order to excel in this role, you will need to have strong communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in property maintenance or repairs coordination is desirable, as is a good understanding of health and safety regulations.
